AmpMe: The Next Generation of Speakers…

LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!!!!

You all know the scenario: You’re hanging with your friends (assuming you have some), or you’re at some party (again, assuming you’re cool enough to be invited anywhere), and you wanna blast your music for the world to hear. But unfortunately, none of you remembered to bring speakers, and your “Bluetooth-or-BUST” friend has forgotten to charge their wireless speaker. And of course your dinky little phone speaker won’t be loud enough, no matter what promises the phone maker made to you about its volume (looking at you HTC). So it seems that you’re at a loss.

Or are you?

What if I told you that the solution was to use your phone speakers simultaneously? You’d probably think “Wow, that sounds tricky and really complicated.” And you’d probably be right. Until now…

There’s a new app in town, and its name is AmpMe – Social Music party. The setup is simple: You and your friends each download the app to your phones, search for the music you want to play, and sync it with everyone else’s phones. The app will then sync all of your separate speakers together, so that the music plays in one, unified sound, boosted by the other speakers. Crazy right?

It doesn’t stop there! You can also sync Bluetooth speakers together, to create an even louder sound. And you can connect to various music streaming services, so that can use your own personal songs. Here’s a brief video demonstration of how it works:

AmpMe is available on the App Store and on Google Play for free, so go ahead and give it a try. Play any type of music you like. Just don’t let me be a host. You’ll just hear showtunes on repeat for eternity. Unless you’re into that sort of thing. If so, sweet.
